Cheese bread


Serves 4

Preparation 10 minutes
Cooking time 15 minutes

You need:

  • 3 tablespoons crushed garlic
  • 2 – 5 tablespoons cream cheese (Simonsberg Tangy Mustard)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • bunch of parsley, chopped
  • 1 red chilli, chopped
  • 2 cups grated cheese
  • 1 flat, round loaf or French loaf

Here’s how

Combine all the ingredients except the bread.
Make deep cuts along the length and breadth of the bread, but don’t slice all the way through.
Spoon the mixture into the cuts. Wrap in two layers of foil and bake for 15 – 20 minutes over the coals. Loosen the cheese bread slices and serve.
